Cardiac Tumors (***)

Benign:

  • Myxoma
  • Lipoma
  • Fibroelastoma
  • Rhabdamyoma

Malignant:

  • Sarcoma

Malignant Cardiac Tumors are graded in two degrees:

  • 1st Degree (Primary) = A malignant tumor that originates in the heart itself, usually from mesenchymal tissue.
  • 2nd Degree (Secondary/Metastatic) = A malignant tumor in the heart that originates elsewhere and spreads to the heart.
